After watching quite a few videos of other film makers putting out tremendous, cinematic quality short films about their daily life, I've decided to jump in and try myself. I doubt I succeeded on any important level, but this is merely the beginning. We keep going until we make something cool, and then try to repeat that process as often as possible. This is only the beginning.
After a long day of working on my latest project, I took some time to watch some of my favorite YouTubers. Then I fell down a rabbit hole of discovery, until I landed on the channel of a guy named Dale Roossien. If you ever find yourself feeling like you don't have the right environment, right subject matter, right equipment to make what it is that you make; I encourage you to check out Dale's videos, because he turns what could be a very pedestrian life into something magical. All it takes is a change in perspective.
I'm going to be making some positive changes, both to my work, and to my videos, but I need your help with some things.
Man plans, and the universe laughs. I had intended to post an entirely different video today, but since that didn't work out as I wanted, I made this one for you instead. Lessons were learned, and as few cliches were used as possible. Plus, Oatmeal!
