Scars

I'm willing to bet that all of us have childhood trauma, in one form or another. I'm no different, and I've let some of that dictate who I am as a human. 

I spent my young life dutiful to a narcissistic father, and when I finally saw him for who he truly was to me and the rest of the family, I pushed back. The story is ugly, but I have made peace with it in my own ways.

First, I am a father myself, and I work every day to give my son a better environment than my own. Second, I use all that energy and turn it into beautiful things.

We all have scars. These are mine, but they're healing well.
