I've run over a groundhog before and that was like hitting a tree trunk but an elk is something else entirely.
Also, I have no idea what happened to the semi truck behind me, or what the guy in the compact car might have thought as it was happening. I’m sure i left a trail of WTF just happened behind me.
Yeah, I don’t know how much air I caught, but I was definitely all four wheels off the ground for at least a full second.
